Dr. Tawfiq Okasha, in his book "The Prophet of God Ismail," discusses the issue of mixing lineages dating back to the story of the Prophet's life, which was very difficult for him to collect information. The doctor explains the reason for issuing this book, saying that our master Ishmael was and will remain a state of conflict, perhaps because he was confused with our Prophet Isaac, peace be upon him, in many matters, especially since they, Ishmael and Isaac, were thrown into a conflict that was not theirs, in many matters, including the sacrifice and others. Okasha also spoke about details about the sons of the Prophet Ishmael, discussed common fallacies about him, talked about how the Kaaba was built, and about our master Ishmael in the Torah, and also presented stories of his wives.
Dr. Okasha says: "We know that the Holy Qur'an mentioned everything, but there remains the upbringing of Ismail before and after the slaughter incident, and therefore there are many hidden matters that require awareness and great effort to clarify, which is what I was keen to do in this book that is in your hands now." Through reading the sources, which I made sure to diversify in their periods, in addition to many articles and other things, I discovered many things that I wanted to include so that the reader could learn from them and be a reason for crystallizing the vision of what he had in mind, in an approach that I believe I achieved and clarified completely."
The book addresses many of the problems related to our master Ishmael, including his life, his strength, his miracles, his children, and many of the matters that led to the existence of this book. Okasha tells that some illiterate Arabs translated the names of the sons of the Prophet Ishmael, even though the names were not translated, which created a crisis. Mixing lineages, and Okasha pointed out that the descendants of our master Ishmael have two names, the first and most general is the Ismailis, and the second is the Arabs, which is limited to those in the Arab countries, and that the mixing of lineages, with the accumulation of years, serves the children of Israel, until they fragment the Arab race, into unrelated races.
