<p>Professor John O’Byrne is Professor of Orthopaedics in the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland.&nbsp;He has over 20 years clinical experience in orthopaedic surgery in the areas of trauma, spine surgery, complex knee and hip surgery.&nbsp;He is Clinical Director of the National Orthopaedic Hospital Cappagh (NOHC), Ireland.&nbsp;He is Honorary Orthopaedic Surgeon to the Senior Ireland Soccer Team, Chairman of the Olympic Federation of Ireland /</p><p>Sport Institute of Ireland Science and Medicine Committee.&nbsp;He has published extensively on musculoskeletal topics. He is a Fellow of the Faculty of Sports and Exercise Medicine in Ireland and the UK.</p>
